We are excited to announce that GrubMarket has acquired Parsemony, a leading provider of enterprise software services based in Alameda, California. This strategic move enhances our software services and broadens the functionality of our existing innovative software products like WholesaleWare and GrubAssist.
Founded in the late 1980s as Vintrex Inc. and later rebranded to Parsemony in 2017, the company has been instrumental under Colin Hare’s leadership in developing Profitsense, a flagship software product tailored for fresh produce distributors and other food service suppliers. Parsemony’s offerings include a cloud-based POS system, custom software engineering, and comprehensive IT services, all designed to optimize operations in the food supply chain sector.
Post-acquisition, Parsemony will operate under its current leadership, continuing to serve and expand its customer base with enhanced AI capabilities and integration with GrubMarket’s software suite. Colin Hare, expressing his enthusiasm, highlighted the synergy between Parsemony and GrubMarket in driving technological transformation in the traditionally offline food industry. Mike Xu, CEO of GrubMarket, also emphasized the alignment of Parsemony’s capabilities with GrubMarket’s vision, expecting significant advancements in digital solutions for their customers.
Please join us in welcoming Colin and the entire Parsemary team into the GrubMarket family as we continue to innovate and lead in the food supply chain industry.
