GrubMarket Acquires Parsemony to Enhance Software Solutions for the Food Supply Chain Industry
We are excited to announce that GrubMarket has acquired Parsemony, a leader in enterprise software for the fresh produce sector. This strategic acquisition enhances our software service offerings and broadens the functionalities of our innovative products such as WholesaleWare and GrubAssist.
Founded in the 1980s as Vintrex Inc. and later rebranded to Parsemony in 2017 by Colin Hare, the company has significantly evolved its flagship product, Profitsense. Parsemony specializes in a range of software solutions aimed at improving business operations for food distributors and suppliers. Key features include a cloud-based POS system, custom software engineering, and comprehensive IT services tailored for the food supply chain industry.
Post-acquisition, Parsemony will operate under its existing leadership, continuing to serve and expand its customer base with enhanced enterprise AI capabilities integrated from GrubMarket’s suite of services including AI Orders and GrubPay.
Colin Hare expressed enthusiasm about joining forces with GrubMarket, citing a shared commitment to transforming traditional food businesses with advanced technology. Mike Xu, CEO of GrubMarket, emphasized that Parsemony’s integration will fortify GrubMarket’s standing as a pivotal technology provider in the U.S. food supply chain sector, leveraging Colin’s deep industry experience and customer insights.
We warmly welcome Colin Hare and the entire Parsemony team to GrubMarket, looking forward to a future of continued innovation and growth in the food industry.
