wefox, a global leader in insurtech, has announced the appointment of Dominik Ulrich as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Ulrich, who previously held the position of Head of Internal Audit at wefox, steps into his new role effective immediately.
In his capacity as CRO, Ulrich will spearhead the Group Risk Advisory function, establish a dedicated Assurance function, and manage the Insurance Carrier’s Risk Management. As a key member of the executive team, he will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing wefox’s risk management strategies.
Julian Teicke, CEO of wefox, praised Ulrich’s innovative and pragmatic approach, noting his significant contributions to the company and expressing enthusiasm for his promotion. Prior to joining wefox, Ulrich’s career included significant roles at Zurich Insurance Group and Citibank, among others. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and professional certifications in information security and system auditing.
